A politician said that due to the need to improve the economy, there will not be focus on reducing water pollution in the local area. Some residents think that this is not a good idea. Write a proposal to the city authorities saying what you think about the decision. Discuss the major causes of marine pollution and suggest solutions for reducing it. Include at least one piece of information given on page 38 to support your response.
